Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department arrested Overlook Terrace resident Orgen Hoxha, 22, on Wednesday, charging him with two counts of second-degree burglary, both felonies, for his role in burglaries in the village on Nov. 30, 2016 on Walworth Avenue and Oct. 26, 2016 on Wildwood Road.
Scarsdale Police Capt. Thomas Altizio said that the latest charges were the result of a combined investigation that included the Scarsdale Police Department, New Rochelle Police Department and Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
Hoxha was originally arrested by police in Scarsdale in February last year, when he was busted with two others at the scene of a third burglary on Drake Road and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Altizio said that Hoxha was arraigned in Scarsdale Justice Court on Wednesday and was remanded back to the Westchester County Jail without bail. He noted that the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation, and additional charges may be forthcoming for suspects.
